Yesh Atid MK Levy confirms he will not be on Knesset list, says he is not leaving party

Yesh Atid MK Mickey Levy announced on Monday that he would not be included on his party's Knesset list, but he affirmed his commitment to remaining within the party. The two parties had a meeting, during which Levy agreed to serve as head of the party's court. Levy reflected on the journey of Yesh Atid, noting that it has not always been easy, with struggles, victories, disappointments, and days of joy and hardship.

Despite the difficulties, Levy expressed gratitude to party leader Yair Lapid and other members of the party for their years of collaboration and work towards their goals. He expressed confidence in the individuals and members who will continue to bear the burden, stating that they will lead Yesh Atid forward and fight for the image and future of the State of Israel.

In response to Levy's announcement, Lapid thanked him in a post on X/Twitter, stating that their conversations have always been among the most moving he has experienced. Lapid concluded that the bond between them is stronger than ever. Earlier on Monday, another ex-Yesh Atid Knesset member, Yoav Segalovitz, joined the Ra'am (United Arab List) party.

Segalovitz is expected to receive the second slot on the party's slate, according to reports. "We have work to do together," Abbas said at a joint press conference with Segalovitz.
