US Open: Novak Djokovic’s body finally said enough. Is this the end?

The 39-year-old Serbian battled against Mariano Navone of Argentina for four hours and 36 minutes, during which he displayed signs of extreme physical exhaustion. Djokovic appeared to be struggling, applying ice to his head and grimacing in pain, visibly gasping for breath during certain points. Eventually, he even succumbed to tears mid-match.

While many viewed this as the end of Djokovic's illustrious career, his remarkable achievements cannot be understated. He has won 24 Grand Slam titles, an Olympic gold medal, and has consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible for a professional athlete in their late 30s. However, recent performances have shown that his body is no longer responding to the intense physical demands of top-level tennis.
