UAE sends second aircraft of urgent relief for flood, landslide victims in Nepal

The UAE has dispatched a second aircraft carrying urgent relief supplies to Nepal, following the first shipment in August. This aircraft, operated by the UAE Aid Agency, arrived with 45 tonnes of essential aid for those affected by recent floods and landslides. The assistance, in line with directives from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, totals $10 million (Dh36.7 million).

The delivery includes food, relief materials, power generators, and other vital necessities to aid those impacted. The initiative is part of the UAE's broader humanitarian efforts to assist communities in need worldwide, reflecting the country's commitment to solidarity and cooperation among nations. Following the arrival of the initial relief aircraft, the UAE continues its humanitarian support for Nepal, aiming to mitigate disaster consequences and alleviate the suffering of affected populations.
