The court did not address the core issue of Trump exceeding his constitutional authority.

With the election just two months away, this matter is resurfacing in the Supreme Court. The Postal Service has finalized the regulations for mail voting, but a federal judge in Boston swiftly halted their implementation and is set to hear arguments on Thursday about a potential long-term block. If no intervention occurs from a federal appeals court, Trump will require the Supreme Court to issue an emergency stay to enforce the mail restrictions for the current election cycle.

This stay would essentially halt the judge's ruling, allowing the Postal Service to proceed with the regulations while ongoing legal disputes continue.
