Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez appear set as United's first-choice center-backs in Michael Carrick's preferred 4-2-3-1 formation, leading to speculation about Yoro's future at the club.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport reports that AC Milan are monitoring the situation and may make a surprise move before the summer transfer window closes on Tuesday. The Rossoneri have already signed England Under-21 forward Omari Hutchinson, as well as Goncalo Ramos, Mario Gila, Sankhoun Diawara, and Diego Moreira in a €150 million (£128 million) summer spending spree.

Amorim reportedly met with Milan directors Hendrik Almstadt and Bobby Gardiner for nearly five hours on Saturday to discuss potential transfer targets. The Serie A club is still seeking an attacking midfielder, a central defender, and a left-back, with super-agent Jorge Mendes potentially playing a role in the negotiations.
