The Walking Dead: Dead City Brings Back Beth — And Brings Maggie And Negan Closer Than Ever

The Walking Dead series returns with the Dead City installment, revealing a reality where the zombie apocalypse never occurred and Beth is alive. In this alternate universe, Negan and Maggie seemingly have a chance at friendship, as Negan recalls wishing he and Maggie could have been friends in another life. Beth meets Maggie in a bar and they spend time together, with Beth teaching Maggie how to play guitar.

Maggie and Negan meet in New York City, bonding over their past lives together. Maggie eventually decides to stay in the city and sells the family farm, despite Negan's encouragement to leave before it fails.
