Telangana CM launches Amberpet-Moosarambagh high-level bridge

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated a high-level bridge over the Musi river at Moosarambagh on Monday, August 31, nearly three years after construction began. The bridge, 400 metres long, eases travel for commuters from Amberpet, Moosarambagh, Dilsukhnagar, and Malakpet. Plans for a second bridge towards Amberpet are underway.

The project, started in 2022, was delayed following a change in government and a review of all 14 heritage bridges along the river. The new bridge can withstand 1.5 lakh cusecs of flood water and cost ₹52 crore. Reddy also unveiled new logos for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation, and Cyberabad Municipal Corporation.
