Teen charged for recording livestream of San Diego mosque shooting charged with murder

A 17-year-old North Carolina girl has been charged with murder by aiding and abetting in the deaths of three people at a San Diego mosque, according to Forsyth County District Attorney Jim O'Neill. The girl, whose name has not been released, was arrested last week and indicted by a grand jury just before she was set to start the school year.

The incident occurred on May 18 when Cain Clark, 17, and Caleb Vazquez, 18, stormed the Islamic Center before security guard Amin Abdullah shot and killed the pair. The teens were found dead in a nearby vehicle, while they left behind writings filled with hate towards various groups.
