Speakers condemn antisemitism, praise Trump at Republican Jewish Coalition Annual Leadership Summit

Leaders and lawmakers convened in Las Vegas for the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) Annual Leadership Summit, discussing the growing issue of antisemitism on a global scale. Prominent speakers at the conference, held at The Venetian Resort, condemned the rise of antisemitism, reaffirmed their commitment to Israel, and praised former President Donald Trump as a champion of the Jewish community.

RJC Chairman Norm Coleman emphasized the importance of protecting the US-Israel alliance and ensuring a bright future for both the country and the Jewish population. House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain denounced rising anti-Jewish hostility, urging federal funding revocation for universities that fail to protect their students.

Leo Terrell, a Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division at the US Department of Justice, highlighted the need for aggressive federal oversight to combat antisemitism and protect religious freedom nationwide.

The summit focused on the security situation following the October 7, 2023, attacks, with Congressman David Kustoff warning of domestic extremism and emphasizing America's unwavering support for Israel. Lawmakers also praised President Trump for his role in shaping American policy in the Middle East, with Congressman Randy Fine highlighting his efforts to bring back hostages from Gaza.
