Security Risk Advisors Launches SCALR AI as a Free SOC AI Platform for Security Teams

Security Risk Advisors (SRA) has introduced a new free platform called SCALR AI, aimed at security teams looking to enhance their cybersecurity capabilities. SCALR AI, available for free through the Azure Marketplace, is an agent-based workbench that automates tedious security tasks and provides incident triage and enrichment, with built-in AI-driven quality review.

Security teams can deploy SCALR AI within their own Azure private tenant, allowing them to configure multi-agent workflows, agents, tools, and MCP servers to work together. This eliminates the need to build each workflow manually. SCALR AI supports the existing LLMs that security teams use, ensuring they are not locked into a single model.

Unlike other AI security platforms that charge a license fee and additional consumption fees, SCALR AI operates on a pay-as-you-go model, with costs directly billed by Microsoft based on Azure compute usage. This keeps the overall cost well below what other platforms charge for similar workloads.

Tim Wainwright, CEO of Security Risk Advisors, stated that the company built SCALR AI to assist their 24x7 XDR clients in advancing in the AI era, where there are over 70 SOC AI platforms available. Wainwright emphasized that SCALR AI is free because it is too valuable to charge for. Mike Pinch, CTO of Security Risk Advisors, explained that SCALR AI functions as digital workers—agents that respond to incidents, events, or schedules—not to prompts from individuals.

These specialized agents working in a workflow produce consistent results that cannot be replicated by chatbots or personal assistants, and the knowledge remains with the system even if the original creator departs.

SCALR AI is available at no cost, with users responsible for their own Azure compute expenses. To obtain access or additional information, users must fill out a form at sra.io/scalr-ai.
