Real Madrid icon Karim Benzema considers retirement after terminating Al Hilal contract

Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema is contemplating retirement after terminating his contract with Al Hilal. In recent years, several Real Madrid legends have announced their retirement, including Toni Kroos and Sergio Ramos, leaving Benzema among the notable players in the twilight of their careers. At 38 years old, Benzema is still younger than former teammates Cristiano Ronaldo (41) and Luka Modric (40), but he could retire before them.

Since transferring from Real Madrid to Saudi Arabia two years ago, Benzema has dealt with persistent injury issues that have affected his performance.
