Queen Camilla is anticipated to support King Charles as Prince Harry endeavors to mend his ties with the royal family, though reconciliation is expected to be a gradual process, according to royal experts. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the UK on August 26, with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, expected to start school in Britain in September.

This return follows renewed efforts by Harry to establish closer connections with his father, King Charles, who is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer and is reportedly keen on forming a relationship with his grandchildren.

Despite the strained history between Harry and the wider royal family, Camilla is expected to put aside differences and provide her backing. Charles met with Harry, Meghan, and their children at Highgrove House on July 10, prior to the Sussexes' most recent return to Britain. Vanity Fair royal correspondent Katie Nicholl reported that not even the Prince and Princess of Wales were informed about this meeting, with Camilla being present.

Royal commentator Meredith Constant believes Camilla possesses the resilience to navigate through the challenges ahead and maintain a favorable demeanor for her husband as he works on his relationship with his younger son. Royal historian Catherine Mayer asserts that Camilla is an integral part of Charles' life, emphasizing that there cannot be any reconciliation with the king without her.

While Prince William and King Charles are not aligned in their approach to handle Prince Harry's return, they recognize that they are a team with their respective wives. William would not expect Camilla to stand against her husband any more than Charles would expect that of Kate.
