Putin to press Xi on Power of Siberia 2 pipeline for the sixth time
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is again hoping for a one-on-one meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping to persuade him — for the sixth time since the start of the war in Ukraine — to approve the new Power of Siberia 2 pipeline, which the Kremlin hopes would double its gas supplies to China, The Moscow Times reported on Aug. 31.
