Poland's PGZ interested in joint production of ground robotic systems with Ukraine

Rafal Harmoza, director of Poland's Ground Robotics Systems company, PGZ, discussed potential joint production with Ukraine in an interview with Ukrinform. The Polish company is keen on collaborating with Ukraine in various defense technologies, such as drones, missiles, and electronic warfare systems. Following the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdansk, PGZ has been engaged in discussions with Ukrainian firms to explore mutually beneficial projects.

In August, PGZ and a Ukrainian partner signed a non-disclosure agreement, enabling the exchange of sensitive information. The next milestone is anticipated to be a formal cooperation agreement, paving the way for a carefully planned project. According to Harmoza, the objective is to establish joint production between the two nations. He emphasized that these agreements are primarily designed around Ukraine's requirements, adhering to the principles of "Build with Ukraine" or "Build for Ukraine."

Furthermore, Harmoza highlighted that Ukrainian defense industry companies are keen on setting up production facilities in Poland due to the escalating Russian assaults on Ukrainian soil. A recent agreement between Ukrainian defense firm TAF Industries and Poland's prominent defense industry group, PGZ, underscores Poland's interest in strengthening its defense sector and actively participating in joint ventures and arms procurement with Ukraine.
