NSA opens three-day window to resolve national service biodata mismatches

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a three-day window, from Tuesday, September 1 to Thursday, September 3, 2026, to assist prospective National Service Personnel with resolving biodata discrepancies that prevent them from completing their registration. Affected students are urged to visit the NSA Kumasi Regional Office at 10:00am each day for aid in correcting their records.

Collaborating with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company, and Commissioners for Oaths, the NSA aims to help students complete necessary documentation, rectify their records, and proceed with national service registration before the deadline. Those lacking the required affidavit will be supported by Commissioners for Oaths in preparing and swearing the necessary document for correcting their biodata.

Students needing a Gazette publication for corrections will receive guidance from the Ghana Publishing Company.

Those with already obtained affidavits and/or Gazette publications but yet to correct their records must also attend the Kumasi Regional Office with their original documents and supporting evidence. These documents will aid in facilitating the required changes and aligning students' records.

The NSA encourages all affected students to bring their Ghana Card, along with their affidavit and Gazette (if applicable), and any other pertinent original documents to the Kumasi Regional Office. Upon successful corrections, students will be able to continue with the national service registration process. The Authority emphasizes the urgency of reporting without delay to regularize records and complete registration before the deadline.
