Mohammad Yousuf Reveals Major Reason Behind Pakistan Cricket’s Decline

Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf has faulted the country's coaching system, attributing the decline in national team batting to longstanding technical issues. This revelation emerged as England gained a significant upper hand against Pakistan, scoring 177-7 in their second innings, which extended their overall lead to 357 runs.

In response to the batting performance during the match, Yousuf took to social media to express his concerns. He alleged that certain coaches had impeded players, including Babar Azam, from addressing technical flaws in their early careers. Yousuf emphasized that these issues, if resolved early on, could have been easily addressed, but instead, they have contributed to the downward trajectory of Pakistan cricket.

He strongly criticized these coaches, accusing them of hindering talented players and providing them with poor guidance. Yousuf further highlighted the technical shortcomings of Pakistan's batters, stating that weaknesses that could have been rectified years ago have now become glaring weaknesses, exposing the team's vulnerabilities against international opposition in diverse conditions.
