MMFL makes strong showing at 2026 JoySports Invitational

The 2026 JoySports Invitational Tournament, Ghana's premier corporate sports event, unfolded at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium over the weekend. While football, volleyball, and athletics dominated the event, the CEOs’ Penalty Shootout stole the show, featuring top corporate executives competing on the field. At the center of this spectacle was Dr. George Smith Graham, the Chief Executive Officer of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC).

As the first CEO of the Commission since 2009, Dr. Graham returned to his role on April 22, 2025. Despite his reputation as a labor negotiator, Dr. Graham showcased his skills on the penalty spot, impressively scoring his kick with composure and confidence. The FWSC boss, dressed in athletic wear, was met with enthusiasm from staff and patrons as he participated in the shoot-out.
