Olympique de Marseille manager Bruno Genesio has warned that three more players need to depart for the club to make room for two new arrivals. This comes as OM is set to experience a potentially busy transfer window closing on Tuesday. Genesio confirmed that Mason Greenwood, Facundo Medina, Geronimo Rulli, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have already been sold, along with Leonardo Balerdi leaving on loan to Roma.

Despite these sales, the team has yet to make their first signing of the summer. Genesio had previously pledged to UEFA and the DNCG to significantly reduce costs, primarily achieved through offloading the highest earners. However, high wage earners Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Geoffrey Kondogbia remain at the club. The manager expressed disappointment at a press conference, stating, "There won’t be any recruits."
