Man Utd new stadium plans on track

Manchester United's chief executive Omar Berrada asserts that the club is still on schedule to construct a new stadium adjacent to the existing site at Old Trafford. Trafford Council is currently engaging in a series of consultations regarding their Old Trafford Masterplan, with the new stadium serving as its focal point. Once the consultation period concludes on September 22nd, adjustments can be implemented to the project before planning and financing can commence.

The club has yet to disclose their funding strategy for the 100,000-capacity arena, which is projected to exceed £2 billion in cost. Berrada emphasized that work continues on their objective to build a new stadium as part of a more extensive redevelopment of the surroundings at Old Trafford. During the summer, the proposed new location of the stadium was shared, and United intends to collaborate closely with fans throughout the coming months to maintain their involvement in the process.
