Karim Benzema parts ways with Al Hilal after financial settlement

French football superstar Karim Benzema has concluded his contract with Al Hilal through mutual consent, following a financial agreement, according to sports correspondent Abdullah Al-Hanayan. In an interview on the Malaeb program with Faisal Al-Jafran on Al Arabiya FM, Al-Hanayan revealed that both parties had reached a harmonious settlement regarding Benzema's remaining financial dues.

He clarified that Benzema will not be receiving the entire sum owed to him by Al Hilal, which encompasses ten months of salary. Al-Hanayan explained that the settlement entailed Al Hilal paying Benzema his outstanding wages, albeit with a percentage deduction, before reaching a mutual agreement on the final terms. Additionally, the correspondent disclosed that Benzema had not attended Al Hilal's training sessions over the past two days, as he was concentrating on finalizing the settlement with the club.
