Karachi to Get a New Flyover

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has commenced preparations for constructing a new flyover on Khaliq-uz-Zaman Road in Clifton, as part of its initiative to enhance traffic flow within the city. The KMC Engineering Department announced the proposal on August 28, targeting Block 8, Clifton, District South, situated near the Saylani Welfare Trust. The primary objectives of this project are to alleviate traffic congestion, enhance transportation safety, and improve overall mobility for the public.

Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab spearheads this development, alongside plans for additional flyovers and major infrastructure projects throughout Karachi. The KMC has extended an invitation to relevant departments, agencies, organizations, and property owners to submit their observations or objections concerning the proposed construction.

Interested parties have been given a seven-day window to submit their comments to the Chief Engineer, Bridges, Underpasses and Flyovers department, within the Engineering Department of the KMC.

Submissions made after the seven-day deadline will not be considered by the KMC. The announcement of this new flyover project was initially reported by ProPakistani.
