Islamabad Traffic Police Launches ‘Mechanic on Wheels’ Service

Islamabad Traffic Police have introduced a new "Mechanic on Wheels" service to assist motorists during emergencies such as flat tires and vehicle breakdowns. The program aims to offer commuters rapid aid when their cars experience sudden technical issues while on the road. Drivers can dial the Islamabad Traffic Police helpline number, 1915, to request roadside assistance.

According to an Islamabad Traffic Police representative, certified technicians from the "Mechanic on Wheels" team will arrive at the location of stranded motorists and perform any required repairs on-site. This service will prevent drivers from enduring lengthy waits and potentially hazardous roadside situations. The initiative, promoted with the slogan "Where your car stops, help arrives," is expected to enhance safety and convenience for travelers across the capital city.

Officials have stated that the service will make travel more reliable by providing motorists with prompt assistance during mechanical emergencies.
