“I wasn’t invited to baby events because I had no child” — Mo Bimpe

Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has shared that some individuals purposefully excluded her from baby showers, naming ceremonies, and children's birthday events when she was not yet a mother. The revelation came in a post on her social media, where Bimpe discussed her personal experiences prior to becoming a mother and offered encouragement to women currently trying to conceive.

Bimpe explained that the incidents were painful, as she had a deep love for children and often desired to participate in celebrations rather than receive sympathy. She urged people not to make the experience more difficult for women who are waiting to have children. "Please don’t make it harder by excluding people. A woman without a child is not less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration," she stated.

The actress also shared her own journey, noting that she was once childless but is now a mother to triplets. She used her experience to encourage women still waiting for children to stay hopeful. "The same God who remembered me has not forgotten you," Bimpe added.
