I Don’t Criticise NDC, My Approach Has Changed – Efia Odo

Efia Odo, the actress and socialite, has shared her reasons for reducing her public criticism of the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) government. This shift in her stance came to light after a social media user inquired about her silence on what they perceived as poor governance under the NDC while she had previously blasted the opposition party.

In response, Efia Odo addressed her evolving perspective on political accountability via X. She explained that as she has matured, she no longer believes that incessant attacks on politicians through public platforms result in the societal changes she seeks. "Because I’ve grown. I’ve realised that constantly attacking politicians publicly doesn't always create the change I want to see.

With age comes maturity, and my approach has evolved," she stated. Additionally, Efia Odo expressed her reluctance to engage in partisan political confrontations or to be compelled to criticize any party merely to demonstrate her commitment to holding leaders accountable. "I no longer want to be used as a pawn in political battles or feel like I have to attack one party to prove I'm holding leaders accountable," she emphasized.
