Harikatha artistes seek govt. support to promote art

Adibhatla Foundation president Adibhatla Ananda Narayanadas implored the State government on Monday to provide encouragement and organize Harikatha artistes' performances in prominent temples during significant occasions. The celebration marked the 162nd birth anniversary of Harikatha Pithamaha A. Narayanadasu. Ananda paid tribute to their invaluable contribution in preserving Harikatha art.

He stated that many young individuals expressed interest in learning the art form under the guidance of experienced artistes, who required financial assistance from the government.
