Four wounded as Russian drones strike warehouses in Kyiv Oblast

On August 31, four individuals were wounded when Russian Shahed drones targeted warehouses in Kyiv Oblast, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. Two men suffered shrapnel wounds and were admitted to the hospital. The attacks struck warehouses in both the Brovary and Boryspil districts, as well as an apartment building in Boryspil.

Tkachenko mentioned that cleanup efforts are ongoing. Authorities issued a warning regarding a temporary decrease in air quality across five nearby towns - Ivankiv, Vyshhorod, Vasylkiv, Obukhiv, and Brovary. Moderate levels of fine dust in the air could cause minor respiratory issues, particularly for those with sensitivities, prompting residents to keep windows closed, limit outdoor activities, stay hydrated, and utilize air purifiers.

Later reports revealed that the warehouse fire occurred in Pohreby, a village in the Brovary district outside Kyiv. This was the fifth consecutive day of near-constant drone strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding areas, with the capital experiencing six separate air raid alerts since midnight on August 31.
