Don’t call me by my first name, Mo Abudu tells young people

Media mogul Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife, has expressed her expectation for younger people to address her formally, citing her traditional upbringing as the reason. In a recent conversation with Toke Makinwa on Toke Moments, Abudu, who describes herself as "very traditional," explained that she was raised by her grandmother in Ondo.

She reiterated that she cannot be called by her first name casually and would not tolerate such behavior. Abudu also commented on how women in business are perceived differently than men, asserting that if she were a man, she would not be referred to as a "shark" but rather as an "astute businesswoman." On relationships, Abudu stated that she is not worried about heartbreak at her age and is only interested in dating someone who has achieved something and who she respects.
