DIG Lagat visits EPZ Athi River Police Post after fire leaves officers counting losses

Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat visited the EPZ Athi River Police Post on Monday, August 31, 2026, in response to a fire that ravaged officers' quarters the previous weekend, on August 29, 2026. The Kenya Police Service (KPS) reported that the fire caused significant damage to the residences where police officers were housed.
