Denver Broncos practice squad and waiver wire tracker

The Denver Broncos finalized their 53-man roster at the 2 pm MT deadline on December 25, 2025. A few surprises were expected with such rosters. The team is now focusing on filling out their 16-man practice squad. This squad can hold up to 16 players, with 10 of those players having two years or less of NFL experience. The remaining six can be NFL veterans who didn't meet the old qualifications.

The Broncos have the 30th overall pick in the NFL Draft, so they will be the 30th team in the waiver order. They might sign some waived players, making them free agents eligible for the practice squad. The odds for the Broncos to win the Super Bowl, AFC Championship, make the playoffs, and win the AFC West are +2000, +1000, -148, and +200 respectively.

The Broncos have signed several players to their practice squad. These include unsigned rookie David Agoha through the International Pathway program, fullback Adam Prentice, long snapper Mitchell Fraboni, wide receiver Michael Bandy, tight end Lucas Krull, wide receiver/returner Kolbe Katsis, long snapper Luke Basso, and edge rusher Johnny Walker.

Veteran offensive lineman Calvin Throckmorton is also expected to sign to the practice squad. The team is interested in signing undrafted rookie linebacker Taurean York, wide receiver Cameron Ross, and tight end Lucas Krull. Outside linebacker Johnny Walker and offensive tackle Tyler Miller are also potential signings if waivers clear.
