However, these efforts are often not enough to replace the impact of a caring neighbour who takes the initiative to connect with older residents.

Steve emphasizes that the caring attitude we showed to our visiting family and friends during the summer should be extended to all older people living on the Costa del Sol. By showing the same compassion, respect, and genuine interest, we can ensure that older residents feel valued, heard, and not forgotten.
