Banjir di Nepal, Tibet ragut 804 nyawa, hampir 3,300 hilang

Heavy flooding and landslides in Nepal, as well as in Tibet, have claimed 804 lives, with nearly 3,300 people still missing, reports Anadolu Agency. According to local authorities, 788 bodies were found in affected areas of Nepal, while 2,742 remain missing, including numerous foreigners. China's authorities reported 16 deaths and 546 people missing in Tibet.

Rescue and search operations are ongoing to locate the 2,498 people still unaccounted for, including 933 hydroelectric project workers, 589 foreign nationals, 127 Nepali tourists, and residents from disaster-affected regions. Nearly 20,000 rescue personnel have saved 8,186 people, while helicopters have transported 279 hydroelectric workers and 227 foreigners to safety.

Assistance continues to pour in, with food, basic necessities, medical teams, forensic and DNA analysis equipment, and tools for preserving found bodies being delivered. A team of 11 Indian experts arrived to assist in the underwater rescue operation.
