Baltimore Ravens set initial roster: Here’s who made the team

The Baltimore Ravens unveiled their initial roster on Sunday following the completion of necessary roster adjustments to adhere to the NFL's 53-player limit. The team waived 28 players, released the contracts of five veteran players, and placed two rookies on injured reserve with return designations. Among the key selections, the Ravens retained three quarterbacks, maintained undrafted rookies Joe Fagnano and Ethan Burke, and dismissed former third-round outside linebacker Adisa Isaac.

With Adam Randall and Bilhal Kone on injured reserve, there remains an opportunity for additional roster moves. The full roster includes 52 active players. Quarterbacks include Lamar Jackson as starter and Tyler Huntley as backup. Wide receivers Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and Ja'Kobi Lane are projected starters, while Elijah Sarratt, Devontez Walker, and LaJohntay Wester make up the reserves.

Derrick Henry leads the running backs, with Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali as backups, and Adam Randall is listed as a reserve/injured player. Edge rushers Trey Hendrickson and Tavius Robinson are the projected starters, with Mike Green, Zion Young, and Ethan Burke as reserves. In the cornerback position, Nate Wiggins, Marlon Humphrey, and Chidobe Awuzie are the projected starters, with T.J.

Tampa Jr., Chandler Rivers, and Keyon Martin serving as reserves. Kyle Hamilton, Malaki Starks, and Jaylinn Hawkins are the projected starters for safeties, with Keondre Jackson as a reserve. Nnamdi Madubuike, Travis Jones, and Calais Campbell comprise the projected starters for the defensive line, while Broderick Washington Jr., John Jenkins, Aeneas Peebles make up the reserves.

Ronnie Stanley, John Simpson, Ethan Pocic, Vega Ioane, and Roger Rosengarten are the projected starters for the offensive line, with Jovaughn Gwyn, Andrew Vorhees, Emery Jones Jr., and Carson Vinson as reserves. Mark Andrews starts as the tight end, with Durham Smythe, Matt Hibner, and Josh Cuevas as backups. Roquan Smith and Trenton Simpson are the projected starters for inside linebackers, with Teddye Buchanan and Jay Higgins IV serving as backups.

Tyler Loop starts as the kicker, Ryan Eckley as the punter, Rasheen Ali returns kicks, and LaJohntay Wester punts. Ryan Eckley also serves as the holder and long snapper, with Nick Moore taking on the role of starting long snapper.
