‘Baba Decided to Visit His Adopted Son,’ Charly Boy Gets Emotional As Ex-President Obasanjo Paid Him Surprise Visit

Renowned entertainer and activist Charly Boy expressed gratitude to former President Olusegun Obasanjo for his surprise visit to his studio in Ajah, Lagos State. Charly Boy, affectionately known as "Fada," shared on social media that he had been battling the flu for nearly a week, and was taken aback by Obasanjo's unannounced arrival.

He wrote, "Baba just stormed Fada's studio in Ajah. No long notice. No I'm coming tomorrow. No warning." Charly Boy praised the power of relationships that don't require special occasions or invitations, stating, "Sometimes, they just want to see you." He further emphasized the importance of recognizing those who consistently show up in our lives, saying, "Cherish the people who still show up in ur life."

The emotional post came after Charly Boy announced his plans to take his memoir '999' and the Charly Boy Foundation on an international tour, featuring stops in London, Germany, Kenya, and other destinations, following a successful launch in Lagos. Charly Boy's close bond with Obasanjo is rooted in shared ideals for Nigeria and honest dialogue, with Obasanjo recognizing Charly Boy's courage, consistency, and his willingness to stand by his truth despite circumstances.
