3 maut kereta terjunam dalam gaung

Pondok Peti Bomba and Emergency Rescuers in Lahad Datu rescued three individuals from a submerged car late last night. The incident occurred when the Proton Aeroback, driven by a suspect, veered off the road near a culvert before plunging into a five-meter deep waterhole. Sumsoa Rashid, the Lahad Datu Bomb and Rescue Unit chief, received an emergency call at 7:38 PM before dispatching a team to the scene for rescue operations.

Upon arrival, the bomb squad found four adult males trapped in the accident. All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene by the Ministry of Health's officials, while one survivor was sent to the hospital for further treatment via an ambulance, according to the statement. The bodies of the victims were handed over to the police for further procedures, with the identities of the victims yet to be confirmed.

The rescue operation concluded at 8:45 PM once the situation at the site was deemed safe. The incident was also assisted by the police and medical authorities.
