2027: Kaduna Assembly NDC candidate urges unity for Obi-Kwankwaso ticket

The Nigeria Democratic Congress candidate for Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yunusa Salisu, has urged party members, supporters and opponents to unite for a common cause in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Salisu, whose NDC candidacy was officially announced on August 29, 2026, expressed gratitude for being nominated by the party.

The publication of his name marked a significant milestone in his political career, allowing him to serve the people of Kawo Constituency. "Service to the People" is his party's motto, which he hopes to embody during his tenure. Salisu emphasized that his election should not be viewed as a win over other contestants, but rather as a collective effort to support the Obi-Kwankwaso ticket.

He called on fellow contestants to set aside their differences and collaborate towards a larger political objective, which is to unite and support the common ticket for a better Nigeria. He urged all party members and supporters to respect and cooperate with each other, emphasizing that unity is essential for the 2027 election.
