2027: APM Gombe candidates meet national leaders, strategise for victory

In a bid to bolster their prospects for the 2027 gubernatorial elections, Dr. Lamela L. Silas, the candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) in Gombe State, and his running mate, Alhaji Wadaji Umar Lawan, convened with the party’s national leadership in Abuja. Accompanied by a delegation from the Gombe State chapter, the duo met with the National Secretary, Oyadeyi Ayodele Adebayo, and members of the National Working Committee at the APM’s national secretariat in Abuja.

During the meeting, Dr. Silas elucidated that the purpose of the visit was to enhance collaboration between the state chapter and the national executive, ensuring seamless coordination ahead of the elections. The discussions centred on party development, election planning, and strategizing measures to reinforce APM's presence and organizational prowess in Gombe State.

Dr. Silas highlighted that the meeting offered a crucial platform to share perspectives, assess current preparations, and set a cohesive strategy for 2027. Asserting his dedication to aligning with national leaders and stakeholders, Dr. Silas pledged to fortify the party's grassroots structure. Welcoming the delegation, National Secretary Adebayo pledged unwavering support from the national leadership, underscoring the APM's commitment to bolstering state chapters' capacities in readiness for the upcoming polls.
