20 Chinese Nationals Deported From Pakistan in Scam Call Center Case

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recently deported an additional 20 Chinese nationals from Pakistan, according to reports. This deportation is linked to a case involving the alleged production and sale of indecent content through an illegal call center located in Islamabad. The Chinese nationals were found to have violated Pakistan's visa regulations during their stay in the country.

Their names have been added to a blacklist, preventing them from re-entering the country. This is the latest batch of deportations in connection with the case, which has seen at least 34 foreign nationals repatriated so far. Earlier, 14 Vietnamese nationals were also returned to their home countries. The Federal Investigation Agency and the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had previously arrested 275 foreign nationals during a joint operation targeting the illegal call center in Islamabad's I-10 sector.

The call center management was accused of producing indecent content, with foreign men and women being recruited for the purpose. The FIA prosecuted the case under the Foreign Act, while the NCCIA charged the suspects under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act. Pakistani authorities indicated that the foreign nationals had entered Pakistan under visit or business visas.

The investigation into the illegal call center activities and associated visa violations is still underway.
