Ukraine Strikes Russian Radar, Command Posts, and Pantsir-S1 System

On August 29 and 30, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of targeted strikes against various Russian military installations. These operations were aimed at disrupting Russian military capabilities in occupied territories and within Russia itself. The strikes were reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian forces targeted several key sites in multiple regions. In the Kharkiv region, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) warehouse belonging to the "Rubicon" unit was destroyed in Khartsyzk. Meanwhile, a drone control point was targeted near Chumatske in the Donetsk region. In Luhansk, command posts and an ammunition depot were struck in Sukhodilsk and Kadiivka, respectively.

Logistics warehouses were also hit in Berdianske and Hirnyk, both in the Donetsk region, and Krasnosilske in occupied Crimea. The strikes extended to Russian territory, with a radar station in Pavlychi, located in the Bryansk region, being targeted. Additionally, a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile-gun system was destroyed near Kletnya in the Bryansk region on August 27.

These recent strikes are part of an ongoing series of operations that follow a wave of Ukrainian strikes on August 28 and 29. Those earlier attacks targeted storage, preparation, and launch facilities for attack drones in occupied Donetsk and Gvardiyske in Crimea. Other strikes were aimed at an electronic warfare complex near Znamianka in Crimea and a UAV control point in Berestky in the Donetsk region. The extent of the damage to these facilities is still under assessment by military officials.

Furthermore, the General Staff previously confirmed the destruction of a Russian Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system on August 28 near Klintsy in Russia’s Bryansk region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to report ongoing operations targeting key Russian military sites.
