Qatar Philatelic Center wins 5 medals at Asian Stamp Exhibition in Indonesia

The Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center, part of the Ministry of Culture, has emerged victorious at the Asian Stamp Exhibition in Bandung, Indonesia. This prestigious event, organized by the Inter-Asia Philatelic Federation (FIAP), brought together 32 participating countries. After rigorous evaluations by an elite panel of international jurors, the center's endeavors across various exhibition categories have been rewarded with significant accolades.

Among the standout achievements, the exhibit "The First Regular Stamps of Qatar" claimed a gold medal (G), while "The Postal History of Kuwait" earned a large gold medal (LV). The center's other notable victories include "The Postal History of Oman," "The History of Aden Stamps," and "Detained Mail During World War II (USA and Switzerland)," all of which also secured gold medals (V).

As a member of both the Federation Internationale de Philatelie (FIP) and FIAP, the center is actively engaged in the international philatelic community. The center's dedication to the hobby and its role in advancing the field is evident in its commitment to participating in FIAP and FIP organized exhibitions, striving to provide members with ample opportunities to explore and develop their philatelic interests.
