Pothole-Riddled Sironj-Kurwai-Bina Road Turns ‘Death Trap’, Residents Question Toll Collection In MP’s Sironj

Sironj in Madhya Pradesh is facing a grave situation on the Sironj-Kurwai-Bina road, as it has deteriorated into a "death trap". The lackluster response from the administration to the PWD Minister's directives to improve the road has left residents in despair. The road's deep ditches, caused by relentless rain, pose significant dangers to bikers and heavy vehicles alike.

Bikers attempting to navigate the treacherous road without triggering a crash risk losing their balance and sustaining serious injuries. The potholes on the road make it difficult for even the most experienced riders to maintain control, resulting in accidents which could have been easily prevented with proper road maintenance.

Despite the road's perilous state, the Bansal Construction Company persists in collecting tolls from those who dare to use the Sironj-Kurwai-Bina road. This inhumane practice only serves to further anger the residents, who already feel that their safety has become an afterthought for the authorities.

Not only does the road's deteriorating condition pose risks to those travelling on foot, but heavy vehicles, such as trucks and tankers, also contribute to the destruction of the road. The Bina refinery's need for these large vehicles to pass through the area exacerbates the damage caused to the road, creating a vicious cycle of harm.

As the road continues to fall into disrepair, residents are left questioning the administration's priorities and the true purpose behind toll collection. The Bhopal Master Plan, which had been delayed for years, may finally see some progress, but until the Sironj-Kurwai-Bina road is repaired and made safe for all, the suffering of its residents will persist.
