Nga hopes ‘red heroes’ will be found safe soon

The housing and local government ministry in Malaysia is collaborating with Wisma Putra in a search effort for two missing fire and rescue department officials. These individuals remain unreachable following severe flash floods in Rasuwa, Nepal. Nga Kor Ming, the minister overseeing the ministry, expressed their commitment to finding the two men, who are among over 50 Malaysians still unverified.

He implored all Malaysian citizens to pray for the well-being of the two unnamed officials, hoping their safety and a swift discovery. The minister's statement came following the inauguration of the Jom Makan Ipoh Expo last evening. Nga informed that the ministry, through the fire and rescue department, is maintaining frequent communication with the families of the missing duo.

The two men, identified as Mohd Sani Harul and Mohd Fakhrul Munir Mohd Isa, were part of a group of 10 Malaysians who embarked on a journey to Everest Base Camp on Monday night. The flash floods and mudslides struck Rasuwa district in Nepal, near the border with Tibet, two days later.
