NABTEB sets September 10 deadline for 2026 Nov/Dec exam registration

NABTEB, the National Business and Technical Examinations Board, has set two key registration deadlines for the upcoming 2026 November/December examinations. These deadlines, announced by the Board on August 30, 2026, are crucial for candidates and stakeholders to plan their submissions accurately.

The first registration deadline is Thursday, September 10, 2026, for the National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), and Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC)/Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC). This means that all interested candidates must ensure their applications are submitted before this date to be considered for these exams.

The second deadline is Wednesday, September 30, 2026, specifically for the December Modular Trades Certificate Examination. This provides a slightly longer window for candidates to finalize their registration paperwork for this particular assessment.

NABTEB's Assistant Director, Media/Protocol, Uchechukwu Olisah, made these announcements on August 30, 2026, in a statement to journalists in Benin City. He emphasized that registration for the November/December exams commenced on August 10, 2026, following a directive from the Board on August 7, 2026. This directive was signed by the Director, Examinations Administration, Chigoziem Susan Metu.

The registration fees for these exams have been set at N22,500 for NBC/NTC, N25,500 for ANBC/ANTC, and N6,000 for the December Modular Trades Certificate Examination. It is important for prospective candidates, schools, technical and vocational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders to adhere to these fee structures and registration timelines.
