Professional coach Benjamin Owen, 39, rents a three-bedroom villa for Dh120,000 per year in Damac Hills 2, Dubai. Owen and his family, including his wife Poppy and two daughters aged four and six, moved to Dubai from the UK four years ago and found the villa through a friend who was part of the construction process. Owen chose the location for its developed outskirts and the best value for money compared to other options.

He has been unhappy with his previous landlord, who was untrustworthy and caused issues, leading him to seek a more reliable and stable landlord. Despite the villa's rental price being on the higher side, Owen feels he gets value for money due to the excellent property upkeep and the same rental amount as in the UK. The villa features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two balconies, an outdoor area, and a car parking area.

Owen has made the home more comfortable by installing a media wall, upgrading the bedrooms, and creating a backyard with turf and a barbecue. The villa is situated near various amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, water park, running track, tennis and padel courts, basketball and cricket grounds, and an outdoor gym area. Owen also offers leadership coaching and workshops to clients visiting Dubai, staying at the local hotel.

Owen is satisfied with living in Damac Hills 2 and plans to continue residing there as long as they remain in Dubai, as they find no reason to move.
