Man killed by falling sign at Christian festival named as 'devoted' dad Robert Guanco

Robert Guanco, a devoted father and pastor at Jesus the Living Water Church in East Sussex, tragically lost his life at a Christian festival in West Sussex on Friday. The 41-year-old was a beloved member of his community and a beacon of faith and love to many. Six others were injured in the incident when a falling sign at the Big Church Festival in Steyning, near the village of Steyning, prompted the cancellation of the remaining days of the event.

The festival, touted as the UK's largest Christian festival, was founded in 2009. The Archbishop of Canterbury expressed her sorrow over the loss, offering prayers for the victim's family, friends, loved ones, those receiving treatment, and all those affected by the tragic event.
