Karen O Misses Daisy Chain Fields Appearance Due to ‘Family Emergency’

Olivia Rodrigo's headlining set at the sold-out Daisy Chain Fields festival in Great Park, California, was nothing short of spectacular. The event drew thousands of women and girls to witness various bands perform on stages like Marigold and Dandelion. Shirley Manson of Garbage paid tribute to fans gathered at her set on the Marigold stage, while Quiet Light, also known as singer-medical student Riya Mahesh, delivered a powerful opening performance.

Doechii brought a fresh, vibrant energy to the festival with a captivating show on the Dandelion stage. Fans left their mark at the festival by tying personal wishes to Yoko Ono's interactive "Wish Tree," which promotes peace and hope. Sarah McLachlan and Rodrigo joined forces during Rodrigo's headlining set, a nod to Daisy Chain Fields founder Olivia Rodrigo's influence in the industry.

The festival dedicated an area called Daisy Chain Reaction to 10 nonprofits supporting women and girls, with proceeds from the event benefiting these organizations. Not For Radio, fronted by Mariana Zardoya, headlined the festival, while the Breeders, who opened for Rodrigo during her GUTS tour, performed a mix of classics and new material.

Positivity resonated throughout Great Park, with attendees engaging in activations and spreading messages of support. Eli Miller, performing under her first name, began the festivities on the Dandelion stage, and Mitski expressed her love for the fans during her stellar set. The festival also previewed new songs from Rodrigo's upcoming album, I Think I Spoke Too Soon.

As the night concluded, Rodrigo capped off the event with hits and special guests, all under the watchful eye of pins showcasing the nonprofit beneficiaries adorning the stages.
