Iran's supreme leader urges Gulf rulers in written message to unite against, confront 'real enemy'

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, has urged Gulf rulers and Muslim countries to unite against their "real enemy," according to a written message published on his Telegram account. This message was released during Islamic Unity Week, which commemorates the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Khamenei emphasized the importance of unity, cooperation in various fields, and mutual defense, stating that anyone who creates divisions among Muslims, knowingly or unknowingly, assists their adversaries.

Khamenei pointed out that the current global situation reveals the true nature of tyrants, as they have abandoned their deceptive masks to expose their colonial aims and hegemonic schemes. He asked whether the Palestinians would have been left helpless and subjected to oppression if Muslim nations had been united. The supreme leader's call for unity echoes his recent statement to Iranians, in which he banned actions that harm social cohesion and discouraged statements that weaken national and public morale.

Specifically addressing Gulf Arab rulers, Khamenei questioned whether "rogues without identity" would have dared to covet their lands and possessions if the Gulf nations had been united under the flag of Islam. Khamenei emphasized that unity among Muslims is the fundamental cornerstone for achieving a proud and dominant Islamic civilization, which has already been partially realized in Iran.
