Indian Railways revises timings of 2 Vande Bharat Express trains: Check new schedule

Indian Railways has adjusted the schedule for two Vande Bharat Express trains running on the Varanasi-Ranchi and Varanasi-Deoghar routes. Passengers are urged to verify the revised timetable before their journey. The first train, flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 12, 2024, and commercialized on March 18, 2024, is the 49th Vande Bharat Express.

Operated by the South Eastern Railway, it covers a distance of 536 km in 7 hours and 50 minutes between Varanasi and Ranchi, with stops at eight stations. The Northern Railway has adjusted the departure time of the Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express to 15:55 hrs from September 2, 2026, from the current 16:05 hrs. There's no change in the schedule beyond Varanasi.

The train offers two seating options: AC Chair Cars and Executive Chair Cars, priced at Rs 1,470 and Rs 2,695 respectively. The second train, the Varanasi-Deoghar Vande Bharat Express, also sees a revised departure time from 06:20 hrs to 06:10 hrs from September 2, 2026, with no alterations at other stations.
