French LGBTQ rights leader hospitalised after ‘despicable homophobic attack’ in Paris
Pierre Picave, a French police officer and head of an LGBTQ rights association, was hospitalised after a nighttime attack in the Marais district in central Paris, prosecutors said Sunday. Paris Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire denounced the "despicable homophobic attack".The suspected attacker has been taken into custody.
