Just stick it to your phone... Detecting illegal cameras in just 5 seconds Recently, crimes of illegal filming have been on the rise, heightening social anxiety. In response, the police, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Korea Internet & Security Agency have developed a 'detection app' that can be attached to a mobile phone to detect illegal filming devices. Using this app, illegal filming cameras can be detected within 5 seconds. It works on the principle of detecting reflected light from camera lenses. You install the app on your phone and attach a separately sold detection camera to your phone. The detection camera is reportedly being sold for around 200,000 won. The police plan to distribute 10,000 of these devices. A police official said, "Crimes of illegal filming cause great pain for the victims and often lead to secondary and tertiary damage. We hope that this detection app will help alleviate citizens' anxiety and prevent crimes of illegal filming."

Git Said It Succeeded. The State Said Otherwise.

I keep finding git behaviours the same way: set up the case, run the command, then check the state I actually cared about instead of trusting the success message.

• Git's success message may not reflect true outcome
• GitHub's mergeability doesn't guarantee reviewer's data is up-to-date
• --autosquash can leave fixup commits in history despite success
