Family of three found dead inside car on Ring Road

In Cairo, security forces are investigating the tragic discovery of three members of a family found dead inside a car on the Ring Road in Old Cairo. Medical examinations suggest the deaths were caused by asphyxiation due to gas leaking from the vehicle's air conditioning system. The incident came to light when passersby reported a stationary car with unresponsive occupants on the side of the Ring Road.

Upon arrival, security forces and an ambulance found the bodies of a man, his wife, and their daughter inside the locked car, with no signs of violence. Initial findings indicate that the victims likely succumbed to inhaling excessive amounts of Freon gas, a result of a leak in the air conditioning system while the car was parked.

The Public Prosecution ordered the bodies to be transferred to the Forensic Medicine Authority for further examination and the preparation of a forensic report. Technical experts were also dispatched to assess the technical malfunction and the leak, while the Criminal Investigation Department has taken over the investigation to determine the full circumstances and enforce any legal measures required.
